Julie Anne San Jose releases self-produced single ‘Saglit Lang’

Singer-songwriter Julie Anne San Jose has released her latest single, ‘Saglit Lang’, marking her third self-produced track. The song explores a musical departure from her usual pop and ballad styles, incorporating modern bossa nova and jazz elements.

San Jose described the track as being outside her comfort zone and noted its intimate quality, revealing it was inspired by thoughts of her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz. This release is part of a series of independently produced songs, including ‘Simula’ and ‘Kung Ikaw ay Bibitaw’, as she prepares for a major 20th-anniversary concert scheduled for next year.

Following a resurgence of her older discography on social media, San Jose has reached 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has been named to the Top Artists Philippines list. She has encouraged fans to continue supporting Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists.
