Swiss athlete Julie Derron secured victory at the T100 Vancouver triathlon, demonstrating strong form by overtaking competitors in the final stages of the race.

The event marked a significant return for American Kate Waugh, who had missed the first two races of the season due to injury. Despite a strong performance in the swimming and cycling segments, Waugh was unable to secure the win, finishing behind Derron.

Other notable performances included Canadian Paula Findlay, who moved from 13th place after the swim to a leading position during the cycling segment, and Sara Perez Sala, who struggled to maintain a top-five position despite a strong start in the water.
