Julien Alfred, a 25‑year‑old sprinter from Saint Lucia, won the women’s 200 metres at the Diamond League meeting in Monaco’s Stade Louis II on 10 July 2026. She recorded a time of 21.51 seconds, a new meet and national record, making it the third‑fastest performance in history behind Florence Griffith‑Joyner’s 21.34 and Shericka Jackson’s 21.41, and the fastest time in the world for 2026.
Alfred finished ahead of Adaejah Hodge of the British Virgin Islands, who ran 21.76 seconds for second place, and American Gabrielle Thomas, who took bronze in 21.84 seconds. The race marked a career milestone for the Saint Lucian athlete, who described her victory as the culmination of long‑term preparation.
