Julieta Prissell to debut solo exhibition in Bávaro

Abreu Fine Art will inaugurate its gallery with “El ritmo de lo invisible,” a solo exhibition by Dominican-American artist Julieta Prissell. Curated by Oscar Abreu, the opening is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at the Greenfit Wellness Club in Bávaro, Punta Cana.

The exhibition features abstract paintings that utilize color, layers, and gestures to evoke music, movement, and memory. Prissell’s work explores the connections between personal experience, cultural memory, and the rhythms linking Africa to the Caribbean. Notable pieces include “Ecos del Tambor Ancestral,” “Ritmo entre África y el Caribe,” and “La Danza de los Vientos Yoruba.”

During the event, Oscar Abreu will also present his publication, “TOP 100 ARTISTS: ART GABANGI 2026,” which features Prissell’s work and covers her artistic career.
