Julieta Venegas to present memoir at Tijuana Book Fair

Singer and author Julieta Venegas is set to be a featured guest at the 2026 Tijuana Book Fair. During the event, which runs from October 23 to November 1 at the new Parque Morelos venue, she will present her memoir, ‘Norteña’. The presentation is scheduled for 2:00 PM at the Los Amorosos forum, followed by an autograph signing session.

The Tijuana Book Fair organizers aim to attract 70,000 attendees this year, featuring approximately 80 stands including publishers, bookstores, and academic institutions such as UABC and El Colef. The event will include new books, antiquarian volumes, and a dedicated space for local authors.

In a separate literary context, Venegas has shared several book recommendations during a visit to the Lasai Bookstore in Spain. Her suggested reading list includes ‘Lovers of the Night’ by Mieko Kawakami, ‘El libro vacío / Los años falsos’ by Josefina Vicens, ‘Caída de las nubes’ by Violaine Bérot, and ‘Todas las crónicas’ by Clarice Lispector.
