Juliette Schoppmann announces the death of her father

Singer Juliette Schoppmann, known for her appearance as a finalist on 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' and her role as a vocal coach, has announced the passing of her father. After a period of silence on social media since early October, the 46-year-old shared the news via an emotional video on Instagram.

Schoppmann explained that she required time away from the public eye to process the loss alongside her family. In her message to her approximately 151,000 followers, she expressed gratitude for the support of her community and noted that while there will be difficult days ahead, she is ready to return to her daily life.

Schoppmann, who has been a part of the DSDS team as a mentor since 2018, also extended her sympathies to others experiencing similar grief.
