Julián Oro Duro discharged from hospital after fatal home attack

Merenguero Gilberto Julián Sarante Perdomo, known as Julián Oro Duro, has been discharged from the Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud (HGPS) following a successful surgical procedure. His release follows a period of medical monitoring for injuries sustained during a violent attack at his residence in the Brisa Oriental VI sector of Santo Domingo Este.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 21, when unidentified assailants attacked the artist and killed his 60-year-old wife, Zeneida Socorro Castillo. Preliminary investigations by the National Police suggest Castillo was attacked before Sarante Perdomo returned to the home.

Following his discharge, the artist will continue his recovery at home under the guidance of neurosurgery, maxillofacial, and internal medicine specialists.
