Julián Quiñones scores as Al-Qadisiya defeats Al-Draih

Julián Quiñones ended a scoring drought by scoring for Al-Qadisiya in their 2-0 victory against Al-Draih during the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League. The Mexican striker's goal came in the 59th minute via a header following a cross from the right side, marking his second goal of the season.

Al-Qadisiya took an earlier lead in the 50th minute through a penalty converted by Mateo Retegui. This victory marks the team's third consecutive league win, bringing them to 12 points. With this result, Al-Qadisiya sits in a provisional tie for the top of the standings with Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, though both leaders have a game in hand.

Before this match, Quiñones had gone 367 minutes without a goal across league and cup competitions and had seen four goals disallowed by VAR. His performance helps Al-Qadisiya maintain its position at the top of the table.
