Julián Valverde released from U.S. custody after ICE detention

Costa Rican content creator Julián Valverde has been released from custody in the United States following a period of detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Valverde’s legal issues began when he was detained for driving with an expired license that had been invalid for six months. While he was ordered to pay a $250 fine for the traffic violation, the situation escalated when he was taken into custody by ICE for immigration-related reasons.

Upon his release, Valverde shared an emotional video message with his followers, expressing gratitude for their support. He described the experience as a “very good lesson” regarding the importance of following rules and urged his audience to be responsible. He noted that the period of detention was difficult, particularly regarding time spent away from his family.
