Julio Enciso Transfer Race Draws Galatasaray, Strasbourg and Ipswich Town

Galatasaray is actively pursuing 22‑year‑old Paraguayan forward Julio Enciso, whose performances at the recent World Cup have raised his profile. The Turkish club, guided by coach Okan Buruk, is evaluating a loan with an option to buy and performance bonuses that could bring the total outlay to about €25 million.

RC Strasbourg, the French side that currently holds Enciso's registration, has set a higher price tag of roughly €35 million and is reluctant to let the player go cheaply. Meanwhile, English club Ipswich Town, where Enciso previously spent a loan spell, has re‑entered the race, reportedly contacting Strasbourg to discuss a possible transfer, though no formal offer has been made.

The competing interests highlight the growing demand for the young attacker as Galatasaray seeks to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new season.
