Julio Iglesias and wife to face Miami court over real estate dispute

Singer Julio Iglesias and his wife, Miranda Rijnsburger, are scheduled to appear in a Miami court on October 16 to address a lawsuit filed by real estate agent Evan Weiss. Weiss is seeking approximately 6 million euros in unpaid commissions related to the sale of land on Indian Creek, an exclusive Florida island known for its high concentration of wealth.

The agent claims that commissions are owed by both the buyer and the seller following the transaction. While the defense has attempted to have the case dismissed by questioning the validity of legal notifications and procedural aspects, the court has not granted the request to dismiss the lawsuit. The legal battle follows several previous delays and postponements.
