Julio Liarte releases new book addressing mental noise
Publicist Julio Liarte has released a new book titled ‘Pienso, luego me agobio heavy’, published by Espasa. The work aims to address modern mental exhaustion, which Liarte attributes to excessive mental noise rather than physical labor.
Liarte distinguishes between productive reflection and ‘rumination,’ which he describes as a cycle of negative, repetitive thoughts that lead to mental overload. Using his background in advertising, the book employs visual language, slogans, and fictional advertisements to provide nine practical ‘anti-overwhelm pills’ to combat contemporary stressors such as toxic work environments, sleep debt, and the use of money as an anxiolytic.
