Julio Morón Pérez returns home after suspected kidnapping in Cesar

Julio Morón Pérez, a rancher reported missing after a suspected kidnapping on September 8, has returned home to La Paz, Cesar. Authorities confirmed he arrived at his residence on the morning of Friday, September 11.

Preliminary reports suggest Morón Pérez traveled on foot for several hours through rural areas of the Manaure municipality to reach his home. He had previously been intercepted by armed men while traveling to his Veracruz farm, leaving his vehicle and cellphone behind. Military and Police Gaula units are currently accompanying his family and conducting investigations to determine the exact circumstances of his return.
