Julio Vaccari maintains unbeaten record against Boca Juniors

Coach Julio Vaccari holds an undefeated record in six official matches against Boca Juniors, recording two victories and four draws. Notably, none of the teams managed by Vaccari have conceded a goal in these encounters.

His record spans three different clubs: Vélez Sarsfield, Defensa y Justicia, and Independiente. The streak includes a 0-0 draw with Vélez in 2022, two scoreless draws and a 1-0 win with Defensa y Justicia, and a scoreless draw and a 1-0 victory with Independiente. In his most recent encounter during the Torneo Apertura 2025, Vaccari led Independiente to a 1-0 win at La Bombonera, eliminating Boca Juniors from the tournament.

As Boca Juniors prepares for upcoming matches to decide the Liga Profesional annual table, Vaccari’s defensive success remains a significant factor for the opposition.
