Julius Mikula to miss MXGP finale in Australia after crash

Czech rider Julius Mikula will miss the MX2 season finale in Australia following a severe crash during the MXGP of China. After returning to the Czech Republic for medical examinations, doctors determined that his shoulder and cervical spine injuries are more serious than initially assessed.

As a result of the medical decision, Mikula’s regular Grand Prix season has ended prematurely. His ability to participate in the upcoming Motocross of Nations in Ernée, where he was scheduled to represent the Czech Republic alongside Petr Rathousky and Vaclav Kovar, remains uncertain. The Osicka MX Team stated they will provide updates as his recovery progresses.
