Jumanji: Open World trailer reveals game spilling into reality

Sony Pictures released the first trailer for "Jumanji: Open World" (also billed as "Jumanji: The Real World") at CinemaCon 2026. The preview shows the series’ avatars—Bravestone, Ruby, Oberon and Mouse—exiting their console and appearing on city streets, in restaurants and inside homes, turning everyday locations into chaotic game zones.

The film is directed by Jake Kasdan and features a cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina and others. It is scheduled to open in Chilean cinemas on 31 December 2026. The trailer also includes a tribute to the 1995 original starring Robin Williams, with Bebe Neuwirth reprising a role, underscoring the series’ shift from containing the game to letting the game invade reality.
