A house fire in Jumilla, Spain, has left two elderly residents suffering from smoke inhalation. The incident occurred shortly before 2:00 PM on Friday when a fire broke out in a kitchen extractor hood of a four-story building on Reyes Católicos Avenue.

A 79-year-old woman was seriously injured by smoke inhalation and was transported to the Virgen del Castillo hospital in Yecla for observation. An 85-year-old man also required medical assistance, though his condition was reported as less severe.
