Jumilla's Monastrell Sound and Benidorm's Union Musical announce 2026 festivals

The Monastrell Sound Festival in Jumilla will take place on August 14‑15, 2026, featuring acts such as Lori Meyers, Madbel DJ, Malmö 040 and others. Tickets cost €25 in advance or €30 at the door, with a two‑day pass available for €40. The event is supported by the Consejo Regulador de la DOP Jumilla, the Ruta del Vino, regional cultural and tourism institutes and Aguas de Jumilla, and the municipality has allocated roughly €200,000 for the programme.

In Benidorm, the Unión Musical celebrates its centenary by serving as the flag‑bearer for the upcoming Festes Majors Patronals. Ceremonies begin on July 12 with a concert for the city's patron, Sant Jaume, and continue through a series of events including a popular street party on July 24, a gala dinner, and a fireworks display. Admission is €50 for adults and €30 for children, with tickets sold at the Casa del Fester. The celebrations highlight the historic role of the musical union and its leadership during the centennial year.
