Juming Museum to allow vaccinated pets for outdoor sculpture experiences

The Juming Museum in New Taipei City will begin allowing pets to enter the museum grounds starting in October. This initiative is part of a series of “Cute Pet Co-existence Day” activities designed to promote pet-friendly lifestyles and health awareness.

To participate, pet owners must ensure their animals have completed rabies vaccinations and are registered with microchips. The museum, a certified pet-friendly space featuring over 3,000 outdoor sculptures, will host various events between October and November, including veterinary lectures, themed parties, and music events in outdoor spaces.

The program follows a rabies prevention initiative held by the New Taipei City Government Animal Protection and Quarantine Office on September 28 to mark World Rabies Day. Authorities emphasized the importance of annual vaccinations and microchip registration, noting that failure to comply with animal disease prevention regulations can result in fines ranging from 30,000 to 150,000 TWD.
