Jumoke Azeez expands ZeezDesigns fashion brand in Ibadan

Jumoke Azeez, the founder and creative director of the fashion brand ZeezDesigns, is celebrating her 40th birthday while marking the growth of her entrepreneurial venture in Nigeria.

Based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Azeez has developed ZeezDesigns into a contemporary brand that offers bespoke tailoring, ready-to-wear lines, premium fabrics, accessories, and fashion training for men and women. Her business model focuses on combining modern aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship to allow clients to express individual identity.

Azeez’s success is noted for its location; while much of Nigeria’s fashion industry is centered in Lagos and Abuja, she has intentionally built and scaled her enterprise from Ibadan, demonstrating the viability of creative businesses outside the country’s primary fashion hubs.
