Jun of SEVENTEEN to star in Chinese action film ‘Go for Broke 2’

SEVENTEEN member Jun, also known as Wen Junhui, will star in the upcoming Chinese crime-action film ‘Go for Broke 2’ (also referred to as ‘Rebirth 2’). Directed by Ma Yuke, the film is scheduled for release in mainland China on October 3.

Jun will portray Su Cheng, a man who travels various regions for years searching for his missing younger brother, eventually becoming entangled in a conspiracy involving a criminal organization. The role is expected to blend action sequences with emotional drama.

The film features a notable cast, including Hong Kong cinema legend Sammo Hung, Tony Leung, Bai Ke, and Liang Luoshi. This project follows Jun’s recent recognition at the Hundred Flowers Awards, where he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role in ‘The Shadow’s Edge’.
