Junaeb begins distributing computers to students in Aysén

Junaeb has launched the distribution of personal computers through the Becas Acceso a Tecnología, Información y Comunicaciones (TIC) program in the Aysén Region of Chile. The initiative aims to provide seventh-grade students in public schools with notebooks, software, digital content, and internet connectivity to support their learning objectives.

On August 25, the first phase of the rollout took place in Coyhaique, where 240 students received their equipment at the Víctor Domingo Silva School Gymnasium. Regional authorities, including Seremi of Education Tomás Valenzuela and Junaeb Regional Director Manuel Vivar Aguila, participated in the event.

In total, 638 seventh-grade students across the Aysén Region are expected to benefit from this universal program. Distribution will continue in various localities over the coming weeks, with the goal of completing the process for most students by the first half of September.
