Junagadh: Man kills wife and dies by suicide after recording video

In the Keshod area of Junagadh district, Gujarat, a lab technician was found dead after being struck by the Veraval-Bandra Express. Following the incident, police discovered the body of his wife, Vipula, inside their home. Preliminary investigations and post-mortem results indicate that the woman died of strangulation.

Police recovered a 3.52-minute video recorded by the husband, Girishbhai Babubhai Balas, shortly before his death. In the footage, he addressed his domestic struggles, citing a four-year-old love marriage and ongoing disputes. He claimed his wife would not let him live in peace and alleged that she had been physically abusive toward him. He also mentioned conflicts regarding her employment. Authorities are treating the video as a key piece of evidence in the investigation into the murder-suicide case.
