Jundiaí police arrest criminal faction leaders for monitoring security agents

Police in São Paulo arrested seven high-ranking members of a criminal faction in Jundiaí who operated a clandestine monitoring center. The group used cameras and radios to track the movements of security agents to anticipate law enforcement actions.

Investigations spanning six months revealed the group was involved in drug trafficking and had ordered torture and executions in the region. During the operation, authorities executed seven arrest warrants and seven search warrants. Seized items included 4.7 kilograms of cocaine, marijuana, a firearm with a filed-off serial number, R$ 10,000 in cash, and various communication and weighing tools. The group allegedly used a location in the São Camilo neighborhood to punish and execute those who disobeyed faction orders.
