Jung Chan-min wins KPGA The Charity Classic

Jung Chan-min secured his third career KPGA Tour victory at the The Charity Classic, held at Seowon Valley CC in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. Despite heavy rain and strong winds during the final round, Jung maintained a wire-to-wire lead, finishing with a total of 19-under par.

During the final round, the weather conditions caused significant disruptions, including a temporary suspension of play. Jung faced challenges, losing four strokes before the weather delay, but managed to hold his position. A crucial par save on the 17th hole helped him withstand pressure from competitors Shin Sang-hoon and Kim Baek-jun, who both finished within two strokes of the leader.

This win marks Jung's first title in nearly three years, following his two victories in 2023. His performance follows a season of consistent top finishes, including runner-up positions at the Founders Cup and the Golfzon Open.
