Jung Chung-rae hospitalized due to severe chills and fever

Jung Chung-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, has been hospitalized for three days due to severe chills and fever. He reported that he was taken to the emergency room on the morning of August 16.

Jung attributed his condition to extreme exhaustion and accumulated fatigue from continuous activities over the past one to two years. He stated on social media that he expects to remain in the hospital for approximately one week to recover. During his stay, he has been fasting and receiving intravenous fluids.

Jung expressed a desire to use this period of rest for self-reflection and to observe the world more objectively. He noted that the experience has reminded him of the vital importance of health.
