Jung Eun-chae discusses career evolution and future acting goals

South Korean actress Jung Eun-chae shared insights into her career and future aspirations following the conclusion of the SBS drama ‘Reborn Rich Detective 2’. In recent interviews, she expressed a desire to move away from the strong, independent characters she has recently portrayed in works like ‘Reborn Rich Detective 2’, ‘Jeongnyeon’, and ‘Honor: Her Court’. Instead, she is drawn toward more human-centric stories, emotional depth, and the romance genre.

Jung reflected on the enduring legacy of her 2022 series ‘Anna’, which recently gained renewed attention following its television broadcast on MBC. She noted that the positive reception of the project has allowed her to maintain meaningful connections with her former colleagues.

Looking ahead, Jung plans to take a period of rest after several years of continuous filming. She expressed a wish to explore characters that allow for more natural, vulnerable, and age-appropriate performances, citing a desire to work on projects similar in tone to the classic ‘Christmas in August’.
