Jung Ga-eun discovers wedding ring may be counterfeit

Broadcaster Jung Ga-eun revealed during a video on her YouTube channel, ‘Rolko Unnie,’ that her wedding ring may not be an authentic Tiffany & Co. piece. While attempting to sell various pieces of jewelry at a shop in Jongno, Seoul, to raise funds for child support, an appraiser noted that while the platinum and diamonds appeared genuine, the brand engraving did not match authentic Tiffany standards, suggesting a 90% probability of it being counterfeit.

Jung expressed frustration over the discovery, noting she had kept the ring since her 2018 divorce. She shared that she had struggled with financial difficulties and depression in the past, which prevented her from selling the jewelry sooner. Jung previously filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband in 2019, alleging he defrauded her of over 13.2 billion won using her name and celebrity status.
