Jung-gu District to host Bread and Beer Road event in Daejeon

Jung-gu District in Daejeon will host the ‘Bread and Beer Road × Daeheung Night Market’ event from the 11th to the 13th near Jungang-ro 122-beon-gil. This initiative is part of an urban commercial district revitalization project selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The event aims to bridge the gap between the area's daytime popularity for desserts and its nighttime food and drink culture. By introducing bread and desserts as gourmet pairings for beer, the project seeks to extend consumer activity from the day into the night.

As part of the program, the ‘Daeheung Night Market’ will feature 50 local businesses offering various foods and attractions. Additionally, a promotional booth titled ‘Efficacy of Bread and Beer’ will introduce new flavor combinations to encourage visitors to explore local dessert shops and restaurants. The event is also coordinated with the ‘2026 Modern City Daejeon Jung-gu National Heritage Night’ to provide a comprehensive cultural and culinary experience.
