Jung-gu launches startup academy for small business owners

Jung-gu District in Seoul is launching a ‘Small Business Startup Academy’ to support prospective entrepreneurs and existing small business owners. In collaboration with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, the two-day intensive program will be held on September 10 and 11 at the Jung-gu District Office.

The curriculum covers essential business skills, including commercial district analysis, business plan development, taxation, and AI-driven online marketing. Participants will also receive practical training on utilizing Smart Stores and Naver Shopping strategies to expand their online sales channels.

To provide further support, the academy offers a link to startup funding of up to 50 million won through the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation for those who complete the course. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via the Seoul Small Business Academy website until September 6.
