Junge Union Hessen condemns attack on CDU office in Offenbach

The Junge Union (JU) Hessen has condemned a left-wing extremist attack on the CDU district office in Offenbach. During the night on a Monday, unidentified perpetrators destroyed several large glass panes of the building located at Bieberer Berg using stones.

A purported confession has since been discovered in which left-wing extremists claim responsibility for the act and threaten further attacks against the CDU. JU Hessen officials stated that such political violence moves away from democratic discourse and aims to intimidate those working for democracy. The organization emphasized the need for the rule of law to act decisively against political extremism.
