Jungkook celebrates 29th birthday during BTS 'Arirang' world tour
BTS member Jungkook celebrated his 29th birthday through both digital interactions and live performances during the group's 'Arirang' world tour.
During a Weverse livestream, Jungkook shared emotional messages with his fans, known as ARMY, asking them to 'think of me as a fun friend.' He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents, telling them, 'Thank you for bringing me into this world.' He noted an interest in exploring new creative passions, such as filmmaking.
In person, the celebration continued at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. During the first night of the tour stop, Jungkook was serenaded by both his fellow BTS members and tens of thousands of fans. During the performance, Jin presented him with a special birthday crown. The 'Arirang' tour, which supports the group's 2026 album, is scheduled to continue through March 2027, with upcoming stops in Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
