Jungkook celebrates 29th birthday with global fan festivities

BTS member Jungkook is celebrating his 29th birthday on September 1, marked by global festivities organized by fans known as ARMY. Celebrations include LED trucks at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, fireworks in Japan, drone shows, and large-scale advertisements in Seoul and Times Square.

Jungkook has earned the nickname ‘Golden Maknae’ due to his versatility across various disciplines, including singing, dancing, rapping, athletics, and painting. His solo musical career has showcased a wide range of genres, from the anthemic FIFA World Cup track ‘Dreamers’ to the jazz-tinged R&B of ‘Still With You’ and his global solo debut ‘Seven’.
