Jungkook faces fan backlash over AI-generated video

BTS member Jungkook has faced criticism from international fans following a social media post featuring an AI-generated video of his pet dog, Bam. The clip, shared via his alternative Instagram account ‘bowwow_bam’, depicted Bam performing the choreography to Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ alongside two other dogs.

Many fans expressed disappointment, with some labeling the content ‘AI slop’ and urging the singer to avoid promoting generative AI to his massive following. The backlash reflects a growing divide regarding the use of artificial intelligence in entertainment, with critics citing ethical concerns, environmental impacts, and a preference for traditionally created content.
