Jungkook's Chanel 1957 Fragrance Campaign Drives Sellout
South Korean singer Jung Kook, appointed Chanel’s Global Ambassador for Fragrance & Beauty in December 2025, fronted a new campaign for the house’s heritage perfume 1957. The rollout featured two short films – “Jung Kook Meets 1957,” in which the artist reflects on his career, and “Let’s Talk Parfum,” a conversation with Chanel’s in‑house perfumer Olivier Polge about the scent’s notes of white musk, iris, cedar and vetiver. The campaign highlighted the 1957 fragrance from Chanel’s Les Exclusifs collection and generated massive online buzz. Within days of the films going live, the limited‑edition 1957 perfume sold out, underscoring the commercial impact of Jung Kook’s endorsement.
