Junior Lake targets third consecutive title with Leones del Escogido

Veteran outfielder Junior Lake has expressed confidence in the Leones del Escogido's ability to secure a third consecutive championship in the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). Currently participating in training at the New York Yankees academy, Lake noted that the team has retained much of its championship core while adding new talent.

Lake arrives following a strong performance with the Toros de Tijuana in the Mexican League, where he maintained a .323 batting average with 104 hits. The Leones are continuing their preseason preparations, with a scheduled exhibition game against Toros del Este as they prepare for the upcoming season starting October 16.
