Junior Women's Hockey: Karnataka and Bihar secure major wins in Pune

The 16th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2026 in Pune has seen significant action across multiple divisions. In Division B, Karnataka secured a 6-1 victory over Uttarakhand, while Bihar recorded a 6-0 win against Goa. Mizoram also achieved a 2-0 win over Kerala.

Earlier in the tournament, Le Puducherry Hockey defeated Hockey Jammu & Kashmir 3-1, highlighted by a hat-trick from Manjinder. Andhra Pradesh edged Delhi Hockey 2-1, and Assam Hockey defeated Kerala Hockey 4-2, with Tanya Chaurasiya scoring all four goals for Assam. Karnataka also secured a 5-1 win against Tamil Nadu during the second day of competition.

Other notable results include Gujarat's 3-1 win over Puducherry and Assam's 2-1 comeback victory against Andhra Pradesh. Several matches in Division C were decided by forfeits, resulting in 5-0 wins for Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir.
