Juniper Green Energy reports revenue surge and signs new PPA
Juniper Green Energy has reported significant financial growth for the first quarter of FY27. The company’s revenue rose 81.19% year-over-year to Rs. 291.20 crore, while profit increased 54.24% to Rs. 33.45 crore compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven by increased operational capacity and an expansion of the EBITDA margin to 91%.
In a separate development, Juniper Green Energy, via its subsidiary Juniper Nirjara Energy Private Limited, signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited. The agreement covers a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The project will utilize solar power and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to provide electricity at a tariff of INR 4.25 per unit. This addition brings the company’s total renewable energy capacity to 11,216 MWp.
