Junín council member demands IOMA settle unpaid therapeutic companion fees

Orlanda D’Andrea, a UCR council member in Junín, has introduced a communication project to support therapeutic companions providing services to IOMA affiliates. The initiative demands that the provincial agency regularize and settle outstanding fees for services that have already been performed and invoiced.

Key demands include a detailed report from IOMA regarding pending periods, the number of services involved, and total amounts owed. D’Andrea specifically opposes the retroactive application of new fee values, arguing that the rates in effect at the time of service must be respected.

The project also calls for IOMA to establish a transparent and predictable mechanism for periodic fee updates and to convene a dialogue table between therapeutic companions and the Buenos Aires provincial government to address tariff issues and billing processes. The proposal suggests inviting other municipal councils in the province to join the claim.
