Junín implements urban infrastructure and community service programs

Municipal authorities in Junín are implementing various urban development and community service programs across several neighborhoods. In the Pueblo Nuevo district, the ‘La Muni en tu Barrio’ program provided free services, including rabies vaccinations and animal neutering, through the local community center.

In the Centenario neighborhood, Mayor Juan Pablo Poletti is overseeing a residential beautification initiative where over 50 families are painting their homes with municipal supplies. This effort is part of a larger urban transformation project known as ‘Costanera del Salado,’ which includes infrastructure improvements such as street paving, water management, and the creation of a linear park.

Additionally, in the Bicentenario neighborhood, Mayor Juan Fiorini supervised the construction of eight blocks of curbs and gutters near Alvear Avenue. This project is being executed through a collaborative model involving the local government, Grupo Junín, and residents, and is part of a broader plan that includes LED lighting, asphalt, and natural gas network extensions.
