Junín road safety improvements proposed to Buenos Aires authorities

Provincial Senator Pablo Petrecca met with Roberto Nicolás Caggiano, General Administrator of the Buenos Aires Provincial Road Directorate, to request several road safety infrastructure projects for Junín and its surrounding areas.

Key proposals include installing a traffic light or roundabout at the intersection of Las Gallaretas Street and the road leading to the Laguna de Gómez Natural Park to manage increasing traffic. Additionally, Petrecca requested the construction of bus bays (dársenas) in the towns of Morse (Route 46), Agustina, and Fortín Tiburcio (Route 65).

The discussions also covered improving lighting on Route 65, specifically the stretch between National Route 7 and Las Gallaretas Street. Caggiano committed to advancing these interventions in coordination with the local municipality.
