Juno Temple Reveals Childhood Home Was Iconic Halloween Film House

Actress Juno Temple disclosed that she grew up in the South Pasadena residence used as the primary filming location for John Carpenter’s 1978 slasher Halloween, where a young Michael Myers murders his sister. Her parents bought the house unaware of its cinematic history, and each October the property attracted tour buses and horror fans. During a “Hot Ones Versus” interview with co‑star Jason Sudeikis, Temple joked that she thought the visitors were there for her, describing herself as an “iconic little girl.” She also shared the story with fellow “Ted Lasso” cast member Hannah Waddingham, who reacted with disbelief. Temple says she remains a “horror nut,” even falling asleep to the sounds of chainsaws and screams.
