Junta de Andalucía launches 150 million euro venture capital funds for SMEs

The Junta de Andalucía, through Andalucía Trade, has launched three venture capital funds aimed at mobilizing 150 million euros to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These funds are designed to assist companies facing difficulties in securing traditional bank financing for projects such as factory expansions, internationalization, and startup growth.

The initiative includes a public contribution of 58.8 million euros, co-financed with Feder funds. The management of these funds has been assigned to Mar Océana Venture Capital Investments, Alter Capital Desarrollo, and Quadriga Asset Managers, all of which are based in Seville. One specific fund managed by Mar Océana is dedicated to startups and will consist of 12.12 million euros, combining public and private investment.
