Juárez FC defeats Tigres UANL 2-0 in Apertura victory

Juárez FC secured its first victory of the Apertura tournament with a 2-0 win over Tigres UANL during the ninth round of the Mexican football season. Colombian player Óscar Estupiñán scored both goals for the home side.

After a scoreless first half characterized by intense midfield play, Juárez took the lead in the 66th minute when Estupiñán converted a penalty following a foul by César Araujo on José Luis Rodríguez. Estupiñán scored his second goal in the 79th minute with a header assisted by Rodríguez.

Despite attempts to respond, Tigres was unable to score, leaving them with seven points in fifteenth place. Juárez remains at the bottom of the table with three points following the win.
