Juárez municipal police honored and equipped with new uniforms

The Municipal Public Security Secretariat of Juárez awarded 34 police officers the Social Merit award for their work on the "Juárez Amanece Limpio" project, which involved cleaning public spaces, removing graffiti and rehabilitating parks in the Villas Residencial del Real neighborhood. The ceremony highlighted the collaboration between the police, municipal officials and residents to improve safety and community environments.

Mayor Ismael Arriaga Ortiz later handed out new uniforms to municipal police and civil‑protection staff and announced an additional MetLife insurance policy for them, expanding benefits beyond the two existing policies. The mayor described the measures as part of a broader effort to dignify the work of security forces and enhance their capacity to protect Juárez residents.
