Juárez water authority completes drainage works in Colonia Satélite

The Junta de Agua y Saneamiento de Juárez (JMAS) has completed the final stage of drainage pipe replacement on Neptuno Street. This work is part of a larger sanitary network rehabilitation project in the Colonia Satélite neighborhood, which is expected to benefit approximately 2,000 families.

Project supervisor Flor Pérez stated that the works included the installation of an 18-inch collector and additional piping. The project has reached an 80 percent completion rate in the Colonia Satélite area. The new infrastructure is designed to improve the sanitary network and address local issues such as foul odors and wastewater backflow into homes.
