Jurica Gizdić posthumously receives Hajdučko srce award

Jurica Gizdić has been posthumously awarded the ‘Hajdučko srce’ (Hajduk Heart) award for the 2025/26 season. The prestigious recognition, which honors individuals who embody dedication and loyalty to the club, was announced by the Torcida supporters' group during the Torcida Cup in Split.

Gizdić, a long-time chronicler and researcher of Hajduk Split's history, was honored for his decades of work preserving the club's archives, including old newspapers, photographs, and records. His brother, Ćiro Gizdić, accepted the award on his behalf.

Both Torcida and Hajduk Split released statements honoring Gizdić's lifelong commitment to safeguarding the club's heritage and ensuring its history was not forgotten.
