JUSAG holds 2nd Quadrennial Delegates’ Conference in Tamale

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) held its 2nd Quadrennial Delegates’ Conference in Tamale, focused on the theme “Championing staff welfare and technology; anchors of quality justice.”

During the event, Samuel Afotey Otu was retained as National President, receiving 641 votes. Other leadership outcomes included the election of Daniel Kofi Dorgbetor as National Vice-President and the retention of Yakubu Abdulai as General Secretary. Regional executives across 16 regions were also elected.

Representing President John Dramani Mahama, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah emphasized the government's commitment to judicial independence and the digital transformation of the justice system. He noted that technology, including electronic filing and integrated case management, is essential to reducing delays and improving transparency and accessibility for all Ghanaians.
