Just the Network partners with Roseanne Barr for new comedy series

Just the Network, the parent company of Just the News, has partnered with Roseanne Barr to produce a new comedy series titled ‘Meemaw’. The show follows a patriotic grandmother raising her grandchildren on a Texas ranch.

The first season has already been filmed and is currently being pitched to streaming services for a potential early 2027 release. The cast includes Randy Quaid as a local sheriff, Drea de Matteo as Barr’s daughter, and Omar Gooding as her son-in-law.

Just the Network CEO Mark Meckler stated that the series is part of a broader strategy to expand the brand into entertainment, comedy, and sports over the coming year.
