Justice and Development Party leads Agadir Ida-Outanane election results

The results for the legislative elections in the Souss-Massa region have been announced, revealing a split in performance between local and regional levels. In the Agadir Ida-Outanane local constituency, the Justice and Development Party (PJD) secured first place with 24% of the valid votes. It was followed by the National Rally of Independents (RNI) with 17.71%, the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) with 17.21%, and the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP) with 11.71%. These four parties claimed the four parliamentary seats available in the district.

On a regional level, the Istiqlal Party led the voting results. However, in the Agadir Ida-Outanane district specifically, the Istiqlal Party and the Party of Progress and Socialism both lost their parliamentary seats, finishing fifth and sixth respectively.

The election was marked by a low voter turnout in Agadir Ida-Outanane, which stood at 26.89% of the 284,543 registered voters. Additionally, there was a high rate of invalid ballots, with approximately 17.2% of the votes cast being declared void.
